Safari chic in a Serbian plum orchard.
The tent is positioned at the far end of the plum orchard, away from the farmhouse, looking out across the meadow toward the forest. In the morning you hear bees before you hear anything else.
This is not glamping as an Instagram concept. It is a good tent on a working farm, with proper comforts and an honest connection to the land around it. We have kept it simple and kept it real.
Included
What comes with the tent.
A 5-metre canvas safari tent on a raised hardwood platform. A proper double bed with a natural wool mattress, linen sheets, woollen blankets. Bedside lanterns. A small writing table and two chairs.
A timber-framed bucket shower fed by a gravity tank heated with a wood-fired coil — hot water, real pressure, entirely off-grid. Set among the trees, with views of the orchard.
A private composting privy with a lockable door, cedar chips, and a view. Simple, clean, and less inconvenient than you might expect.
A stone fire pit set apart from the tent, with log seating and a supply of split hardwood. A grill frame for cooking over the fire if you want it.
On arrival: fresh eggs from the farm, honey from the hives, bread baked that morning, a jar of plum jam. This is breakfast for your first day, included.
Your host will take you to the hives on your first morning. He will lift a frame and show you the colony. Fresh comb honey, straight from the hive.

Before you come
Questions.
About 150 metres — close enough to feel connected, far enough to feel private. You will not hear us; we will not see you.
Yes, for children comfortable with outdoor life. The fire pit requires supervision. We ask that guests keep to the marked paths near the forest edge.
Yes. There is a grill over the fire pit and a small outdoor prep surface. We can arrange for farm produce — eggs, honey, seasonal fruit, herbs — to be left at the tent each morning. For meals in the farmhouse, ask us.
The tent is a substantial canvas structure on a raised platform and handles rain well. We provide extra blankets for cool nights. If you are coming in shoulder season (April, May, October), bring layers.
A solar lantern is provided, plus two USB charging points in the tent powered by a small solar panel. No mains power.
By car from Belgrade: approximately 2 hours via the E763/A2. Krupanj town is 20 minutes from the farm. Exact directions and GPS coordinates are shared on confirmation.
